On a cold night in '56 a beautiful baby boy was born and was named James Edmond Ovenell. He grew up on a farm and was driving tractors at eight years old. After graduating from Burlington Edison High School Jim went to work for the San Juan Cannery. He moved up the next couple years and started turning wrenches. In '81 he went to work for Barnett Implement and was there for 10 years before heading to Hawaii to do some off shore fishing. Not liking being away from home for long periods of time Jim returned home and started at Scholten's Equipment, Inc in Burlington as a mechaniac. He went on to parts and sales, and ended up as Sales Manager.
