John started his career with Scholten's Equipment on the wash rack in 1990. After that, he went to work for the service department. He installed silo unloaders with Butch and Ooze, learned how to drive semi truck, and started delivering tractors, than went on to paint tractors.
The thing he likes best about working for here is the freedom that Duane gives them. It lets the sales staff spend more time with each customer, so we are more of a partner in their operation instead someone who just sells to them.
At home John has a good wife who tolerates him, a daughter who thinks he's old, a step son and his wife with a new baby, and three dogs who greet him at his truck when he gets home. John feels blessed for the life he has.
