Aftersales Service Advisor
Full-Time | Starting at $25.00 per hour | Lynden, Washington
Build relationships. Help customers. Create opportunities. We are seeking a motivated, people-oriented Aftersales Service Advisor to stay connected with customers after the sale and help them get the most from their equipment. This is a new, proactive position designed to improve the customer ownership experience while identifying service, maintenance, warranty, insurance, repair, and equipment needs.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively contact customers by phone, email, and text.
- Schedule maintenance, inspections, and repair appointments.
- Contact customers before warranty expiration to identify possible repairs that may be covered under warranty.
- Follow up on insurance-related repair opportunities and open service recommendations.
- Check in with customers after equipment purchases to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
- Provide seasonal and overdue maintenance reminders.
- Coordinate customer needs and solutions with the Service, Parts, and Sales departments.
- Maintain accurate records of customer conversations, follow-up activities, and scheduled work.
- Learn the basic operation and functions of agricultural and construction equipment so you can better assist customers.
- Build long-term customer relationships through consistent, professional follow-up.
What This Position Is—and Is Not
This is a customer-facing, office-based position—not a technician role. You will receive training and may operate equipment to learn its basic functions, but most of your time will be spent communicating with customers, organizing follow-ups, scheduling work, and coordinating with dealership departments.
Schedule & Location
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch.
- Primary work location in Lynden, Washington.
- Occasional travel to Burlington, Washington, may be required.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A self-motivated, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- The initiative to manage follow-ups and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort using computers, phone systems, email, and basic office software.
- An eagerness to learn about agricultural and construction equipment.
- The ability to build trust and work well with customers and coworkers.
- Professional communication in person, by phone, by text, and by email.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
No equipment-industry experience is required. We are looking for the right attitude, intelligence, initiative, and ability to connect with people. Paid training will be provided.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time position.
- $25.00 an hour plus commission.
- Medical insurance benefits.
- Paid time off and paid holidays.
- Retirement benefits.
- Paid on-the-job training.
- Dedicated workspace, computer, and necessary tools provided.
- Opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the dealership.
Why This Role Matters
You will be a key connection between our customers and our Service, Parts, and Sales teams. Your work will help customers protect their equipment investment, reduce unexpected downtime, and receive a better ownership experience—all while helping maintain a steady workflow for the Service Department.
